“I contacted Sue to make a custom quilt using my husband’s soccer tournament souvenir Tees that I have saved through the years. He still plays competitive soccer at age 65. Sue was great to work with, listening and suggesting what would work best for size and design. She picked the perfect fabrics to complement the colors in all the different shirts. I didn’t have a timeline for completion, but she was able to complete it in time for me to give to him for Christmas. He was very surprised and couldn’t wait to show it to the guys on the team. “This beautiful quilt has had a very special place in our hearts and our family room since Sue gave it to my husband while he was undergoing chemo treatment. She skillfully added her own design to the original pattern to lengthen it so he had full advantage of the warmth and love it brought to his healing. The warm colors, which he described as “delightfully male,” blend beautifully with the furnishings, and motivated me to use more of the cheerful coral in the room’s décor. The craftsmanship demonstrates great attention to detail, and it is quilted with an interesting design. We use it frequently to snuggle up while watching TV or reading, basking in the warm hugs from our dear friend - Mary R.

I currently have four of Nora’s Dream Creations vintage jean jackets. I had 2 hanging in my closet that needed a refresh as I hadn’t worn them in quite some time. They turned out beautiful, and now have been added back to my wardrobe. I also purchased one as a gift for a young lady from Germany and she loved it. You can dress them up or you can just wear them with jeans and leggings. Sue is very talented and puts her heart in each jacket she makes. LOVE THEM!! - Sue B

I have two jackets from Nora's Dream Creations. I love that the jackets are one-of-a-kind and no one will have the same jacket as me! The Jackets: Don’t Ruffle My Feathers
I first met Sue Burt at a craft show at Lamm Gardens. I didn’t purchase anything at that time, but made an appointment at Sue’s house in Port Washington. When we got there she had fresh baked cookies and coffee waiting. After she introduced herself to my husband and me, she showed me a variety of jackets that she repurposed. I tried on a denim vest she called ‘fleur-de-lis’. The vest was a light-wash and Sue had replaced the yoke with a beautiful lace and the back of the vest she replaced the denim with a studded-lace fleur-de-lis pattern. It fit perfectly. I tried on another jacket called “the Orient Express” and later bought that one at another show at Coffeeville in Jackson. The second jacket I tried on was a soft-navy blue Tencel denim. The material is so soft and comfortable … it has delicate rhinestones down the front on either side of the snaps. Sue specifically designed this jacket: she removed the yokes and replaced them with a beautiful soft-blue-peach see-thru material. It’s stunning! I’ve received many compliments on all three items. I am very happy with my purchases and look forward to seeing Sue once again - Kathleen
Nora’s Creations put together a jean vest with white lace front inlays and back panel. I love wearing it with a red top underneath for Christmas, Valentine’s Day and the 4th of July.They are creative and easy to work with, getting the job done in a timely manner. I purchased a customized one-of-a-kind jacket from Nora’s Creation. I love that my jacket can be worn for numerous events- the change of a shirt and you have a total different look with the lace.
