Sue Burt is a local artisan in the Dallas Metro area.  She launched Nora’s Dream Creations in Milwaukee, WI in 2019 and then moved to Prosper, TX.  Sue completed a 30-year career as a CPA at a large international corporation.  Never one to sit still, Sue then developed her creative side and put her life-long love of sewing to work. 

Nora’s Dream Creations was named for her granddaughter, Nora, who instigated the up-cycle creation of custom jean jackets.  Nora’s Dream Creations jackets are unique and will never be replicated.  It is boutique quality at an affordable price. 

Another facet of Nora’s Dream Creations is quilting services.  Sue has developed a niche in creating T-Shirt or Memory quilts.  These quilts reflect the customer’s accomplishments, passions, hobbies, etc.  They can be from sports, concerts, vacations, travel, etc.  The long list of repeat customers speaks to the high quality and design that has pleased past customers.  Her artistic design and quilting skills make these truly a work of art.

Sue has served on the Board of Visual Arts of Prosper for 2 years and is an active member of the McKinney Quilt Guild.  She has been featured on “Morning Moments, a national podcast and in the “Local Star Media” and “Prosper Now” magazine.  Sue has spoken at Collin County Christian Women’s Connection in Frisco, TX and at Ladies in Touch in Irving, TX where she was the featured vendor.
